About

Keep the structure. Change the finish.

Many existing architectural surfaces don't need to be demolished and replaced to achieve a completely different appearance. Vantage Surface exists to provide a premium alternative through architectural resurfacing — bringing installation experience, architectural finish knowledge, and commercial and marine project experience to buildings, interiors, and yachts across Palm Beach County and South Florida.

We trained and certified with Altyno in 2020, and we work across leading manufacturers — Bodaq by Hyundai L&C, 3M DI-NOC, and more — choosing the right material for each project. We're building toward broader capability, and we represent our current stage honestly: attention to material knowledge, detail, and professional communication on every project we take on.

About Joe

Thirteen years with film in my hands.

I've been installing film since 2013 — started with vinyl wraps, took my first training that year, worked for a wrap shop, then subcontracted before opening my own business in November 2017 doing colour change, commercial wraps and paint protection.

In 2020 I trained in architectural film and began taking on interior projects. It's the same skill — reading a surface, working a seam, tucking an edge so it disappears — applied to cabinetry, doors and wall panels instead of cars.

Vantage Surface is that work, full time. I'm a Bodaq dealer, Altyno-trained since 2020, and I install the jobs myself.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it going to look or feel fake?

No. Premium architectural finish systems reproduce real wood grain, stone, and metal in texture as well as look — most people can't tell by touch. We'll show you samples so you can judge for yourself.

How long does it last?

The premium finish systems we install are built for commercial use and carry manufacturer warranties, standing up to daily wear, moisture, and cleaning.

Is the film fire rated?

Often — but it has to be confirmed per product, not assumed. Bodaq publishes that its interior film is certified Class A fire-rated, and separately states that it supplies both fire retardant and non-fire retardant films, so the rating depends on the specific pattern. Manufacturers publish surface-burning test reports by product code (ASTM E84 in the US, CAN/ULC-S102 in Canada), with separate testing for fire-rated door assemblies. If your project has a code requirement, tell us up front — we'll confirm the rating for the exact film and provide the manufacturer's test documentation for submittals.

Why resurface instead of replace?

If the existing surface is suitable, resurfacing can often achieve a completely different appearance without removing and rebuilding it — with less demolition, disruption and downtime than full replacement in appropriate applications.

How disruptive is the installation?

A cleaner installation approach can reduce dust, debris and disruption to an occupied space, and we work overnight, in phases, or around your hours so your space keeps running.

What surfaces can you do?

Walls, doors, millwork, cabinetry, panels, elevators, glass, and marine interiors, among others. Not sure about yours? Ask us.
